Pros:

- fast quad-core cpu, 6 Gb Ram so should last for a long time for its intended use
- looks quite good (not as good as an iMac in my opinion but very good for the price)
- nice screen
- touchscreen is actually unexpectedly useful and nice when flicking through music or photos. It will probably become more useful with Windows 8.
- does not have (for me) useless features such as Blu-ray and tv tuner, which was not something I was willing to pay for
- has USB 3.0 ports (not tested with USB 3.0 device)
- I liked the BIOS flash utility (and boot image replacement feature), but I am not sure how that compares to other Windows computers.

So so:

- keyboard and mouse are okay after getting used to them but not great
- speakers are not great (not as good as in an iMac) but sufficient
- upgradeable with SSD? (didn't research this)

Cons:

- has power brick (iMac has this built in which is much nicer, especially considering that AIOs are attractive to people, like me, that want as little cable clutter as possible)
- has a lot of bloatware (just takes a lot of time to figure out what can be removed)
- harddrive is split in 2 partitions (just takes a few minutes to remove d and extend c partition)
- no SSD option
- still has a CD/DVD drive (maybe Windows 8 will not be downloadable?).

Customer Reviews Samsung LN55C650

My surround sound system will not be delivered until today, so I was stuck using the built in speakers last night. I was very impressed with the sound this thing could pump out. I varied the sound between 25 and 50 (out of 100) and it was more than loud enough and filled the room nicely. This is by no means comparable to a nice sound system, but compared to any other TV I have heard, it is definitely up there in sound capabilities.

Looks wise, I think this is much better looking than last years B650. I didn't care for the red touch of color that surrounded the whole TV. This model only seems to have the red at the bottom center, and it adds a really nice accent without being overpowering like I felt last years were. This is just a personal opinion.

Cons:

The 120HZ feature, which was heavily complained about in the LN55B650 still has problems. The first thing I did when I got the TV was watch The Dark Knight BD (1080P) on my PS3 using a V1.3 Cat2 HDMI cable. I thought something was wrong with the TV as it was doing very strange things with background motion, but after turning the 120HZ feature off the picture cleaned up perfectly and I no longer notice any problems while watching it. I tried all of the different 120HZ modes, and they all had the same problem. That said, I turned it back on while watching HDTV (720p obviously) and it seems very clean with the 120HZ.

Got this one while it was on sale for $399. good deal and have been using it and it is better than my another dell laptop. I have been always loyal to dell. But figured that maybe a change. Good choice. And the price is unbeatable.

Excelente laptop, funciona a la perfección, me sorprendió que pudiera seleccionar idioma en español cuando la inicié por primera vez, así mismo me sorprendió muchísimo que Asus pensó en aquellos "Pro-users" y estableció una partición para el sistema operativo y otra partición que es libre para uno hacer con ella lo que uno quiera...!!.

Me hubiese encantado una tercera partición para el recovery pero tendré que optar por crearlo mediante dvds (Utilizando un software que trae instalado la laptop), para lo cual hacen falta 5...!!, lo malo es que si uno solo de esos dvds se daña o se pierde, el recovery no servirá...! así que hare 2 recovery para "irme por lo seguro"...

-4 Gb. DDR3 (Excelente para estar cómodo).
-320 Gb. de disco (Buen espacio para almacenar tu gran variedad de cosas personales).

Cons:
-La pantalla LED si la vez en diagonal, no se aprecia muy bien la imagen, como ocurría al principio con las pantallas LCD, es como ver "sombras", aún así le doy 5 estrellas al producto, hay que entender que estas pantallas LED aún le falta cierto desarrollo.
-Con el rendimiento al máximo, la batería dura menos de 2 horas... así que no me da la oportunidad de poder ver una película entera mientras no esté cargando, pero ya se...!! Es una laptop...!
-Dual Core 2.0, Mmmmmmm.... Es bueno para hacer cosas básicas, muy rendidor, pero puedes fácilmente notar las diferencias que hay entre usar ese y un dual core o quad core....
