PROS:
- This computer has an excellent LCD screen, with vibrant colors and great quality 1080. It has a beautiful, exceptionally large screen that i have gotten used to.- The battery is humongous with 8 cells around That give 8 hours or so.
- The processor suffices for my movies, music, some games, and most multitasking.
- The chicklet keyboard is, the which is really cool Because its a completely different typing experience.
- Aluminum finish is extremely cool, the rubber hand and the rest near the mouse is VERY well suited, a GREAT idea and innovative That allows for comfortable resting of the hands.
- It has 4G wimax capability, something that i think is EXTREMELY cool and I have not tapped yet but it seems a That really cool.
There's a num-pad the which adds a new section of the keyboard. Not useful to me, but still a cool feature.
- A large number of ports, as well as a dvd AND blu-ray player-That plays any region dvds. If you do not know what That is, do not worry about it!
CONS:
- The processor, although an i5, acts MUCH slower than it should. It was almost as slow as an entry-level i3, and i am still pretty unhappy with it. It's Supposed to be a dual core processor with turbo up to 3.1 or 3.2, and it can not perform at either normal mode or at turbo boost- The battery, although big and very long-lasting, Causes the computer to get MUCH heavier. It is actually REALLY heavy, not at all light.
- The screen size is great for entertainment, but it was a bitch to carry while traveling. Not only was the size far too big, it was usually searched or Caused wait more time going through the x-ray due to its size and heaviness.
- Alot of bloated software
- Out of store, you need to update A LOT of things, the webcam does not even work without an update.
- Speakers absolutely SUCK. And I mean are TERRIBLE. At level 100, I can barely hear songs or whatever. Headphones and speakers work fine on it, but honestly the speakers are like invisible and really
